Actually, the full name goes "Old Angus Hogandingle McBean"...The "Old Angus Hogandingle" is from a folk song about the sea, and the "McBean" part is because it's Scottish-ISH, as is my husband. Angus is Scottish too, probably so is the "Hogandingle". Anyway, it's just a silly name, and it fits my silly weinie dog to a "T" When we don't call him Angus, or 'Gus, he is known by his nickname, which is "The Goose".
