  • Astolat, Avalon, Camelot, Shallott
    Category: Pet - Gender: Unisex

I know it's a lot of names for one little post, but since they are all based around Arthurian legend,I thought it'd be best to put them all down in a onner. Here's where they come from: ASTOLAT + SHALLOTT = These come from a very minor character in the Arthurian stories, Elaine of Astolat, a.k.a The Lady Of Shallott. She was the ex-girlfriend of Sir Lancelot, who almost nobody's ever heard of, who killed herself cause Lancelot liked Queen Guinevere better than he did her. There's a Tennyson poem about her, and the author of The Princess Diaries, Meg Cabot, has written a book based around it.

  • Quincy
    Category: Dog - Gender: Female

My neighbour's daughter once picked up a stray cat. The cat is brown, and a bit plump. Then I have this image of a british old man with fat stomach dressed in tuxedo and wearing spectacles, walking down the street and I think his name supposed to be "Quincy". Now I wonder why it have to be that name....
