- Astolat, Avalon, Camelot, Shallott

I know it's a lot of names for one little post, but since they are all based around Arthurian legend,I thought it'd be best to put them all down in a onner. Here's where they come from:
ASTOLAT + SHALLOTT = These come from a very minor character in the Arthurian stories, Elaine of Astolat, a.k.a The Lady Of Shallott. She was the ex-girlfriend of Sir Lancelot, who almost nobody's ever heard of, who killed herself cause Lancelot liked Queen Guinevere better than he did her. There's a Tennyson poem about her, and the author of The Princess Diaries, Meg Cabot, has written a book based around it.

- Joseph
Category: Cat - Gender: Male
I have lived with cats since a child. one cat we had was called Joseph. Others at the time were SMOKEY (a RUSSIAN BLUE) WHISKEY (a BLACK AND WHITE ONE) SODA ( A BLACK ONE WITH WHITE TIPPED FUR ON HIS CHEST) and the usual cartoon named cats. I wondered why this one had such an ordinary sounding name as he was really lovely and asked my parents. They told me it was because of his coat of many colours. He was very calm and affectionate. He lived until he was 17.

- Quincy
Category: Dog - Gender: Female
My neighbour's daughter once picked up a stray cat. The cat is brown, and a bit plump. Then I have this image of a british old man with fat stomach dressed in tuxedo and wearing spectacles, walking down the street and I think his name supposed to be "Quincy". Now I wonder why it have to be that name....
